The room was spacious and comfortable, with extra couches for our guests. the kids enjoyed a swim in the pool, despite the cold weather. the hosts were very helpful, even recommending a nearby cafe. the rooms were well-designed, clean, and filled with natural light from the skylights. Daily room service was a great convenience, and we appreciated amenities like electric blankets and free WiFi.
We would definitely choose to stay here again. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Clean, comfortable, reasonably prices and handy to our location. Family stayed in another room that was large and had plenty of space for two couples.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness exceeded our expectations, plus we loved the hotel facilities - the swimming pool was a highlight, and the barbecue and trampoline were great extras. Parking was easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the nearby cafe that served breakfast, and the location was convenient for exploring the city.
Nothing that we didn't like.

Not a lot, probably situation close to the Manfield Race Track. However, it was clean.
This motel is in need of a refurbish which I do believe is starting to happen. It is too old and tired in appearance, although clean, and the bed was far too old. The cost also was something that needed to be addressed,

Stayed here for New Year's Eve and the location was great, close to restaurants and shops. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was functional with good water pressure in the shower.
We could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms and the street noise was also loud. The bed was uncomfortable and felt worn out.

Location suited our needs. Helpful owners.
Large cockroach found when my bed was turned back and no insect spray in unit. Would have enjoyed a basic Sky package.

This motel is located conveniently, just a short drive away from the city center and opposite of a hospital. The rooms are cozy and come equipped with electric blankets, ensuring a warm and comfortable stay. For those who want to stay connected, the motel offers Wi-Fi, and the owners are extremely helpful in case of any technical complications. Additionally, the motel contains a swimming pool, trampoline, and BBQ cooker upon request, providing plenty of entertainment and relaxation options.
The bathroom drainage needs a bit of improvement, which can make for an unpleasant experience.

Very outdated decor. Was not impressed when I arrived at 6pm in Winter and the windows were open and no heating on! It took ages to warm up. The furniture was grotty and stained and there were not enough plugs by the bed to have the lamp and electric blanket on at the same time. I am glad I was only there for the night!

We enjoyed our two night stay, the host Phil was very friendly and cheerful,. the unit was clean and warm, bed was comfortable. The only thing we would have loved to have was Sky TV, to watch the rugby. otherwise could not fault anything, great value as well. Will stay again and will recommend to all my friends. Maureen

The rooms at Aztec Motel are cozy and traditionally furnished, giving them a homely feel. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs in the rooms are a great bonus for entertainment. The mini-fridges, microwaves, and tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms are convenient for snacks and drinks. The one-bedroom apartments have a comfortable king-size bed in the lounge and two single beds in the bedroom, perfect for a group of friends like us. The premium bedding and air conditioning in the guestrooms ensure a comfortable stay. The bright and spacious open-plan quad studio apartments incorporate a generous living area, offering plenty of space for socializing with friends. The two-bedroom apartment at Aztec Motel with its separate lounge area is a great option for families or larger groups. Some units have a seating area where we can relax and unwind after a day of exploring Palmerston North. Each room has a private bathroom fitted with a shower, ensuring privacy and convenience.
Personally, I found the kitchen in the heated apartment a bit small for cooking elaborate meals.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received at check-in. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with a great shower that had a shower dome. The heat pump in the bedroom/living area kept me cozy and comfortable throughout my stay. I also appreciated the value for money and the fact that the accommodation was tidy.
There were a few minor drawbacks to my stay. there was no heating in the kitchen or bathroom, which would have been nice during colder weather.
